Congrats to Phil, Preacher, and the rest.  

It was a long day for me yesterday. Left home to go to the golf tournament at 10:30 yesterday morning, and didn't get home until 7:30. Slept in this morning. My partner and I are in the 4th flight out of 10 and will tee off at 10:30, weather permitting. We are currently in between 2 rain systems, so I'm not sure we will get it in. Oh well, I can watch the replay of the Bama game if we get rained out.

It was sweet watching the barn burn again last night.  

Indeed, very sweet.  
Football Final used the term, "UNRAVELING" when discussing the Aubs.  

Send us some rain.  Our last rain was during middle August.  We keep missing the showers!

It has been raining in N. AL., but the system is coming from the east, a front off the Atlantic coast.  Not sure it will make it to Mississippi.

Nice to wake up and all is right in the football world. Auburn is losing, Bama wins with a big game coming up.  Texas and Tennessee choke away games.  And Oregon gets pasted by 42 points.

How did you play yesterday? You asked if I had played in the tournament at Tall Pines, no but I wish I could have because I really enjoy the 4 man scrable format, I don't have to depend on my shot.
My daughter and family are here and I may try to today if they leave to go back home this morning. I haven't played any since the last tournament which was almost 2 months ago. Are you ready for next weekend?

Bad day at the Navy Base golf tournament. An imminent bomb threat at the Navy Aviation Museum stopped traffic at the gate. They didn't stop the tourney, surprisingly enough, but many of the golfers could not make their way in. Unfortunately, the worst golfer of the day, me, made it in to stink the pacle up. I was so bad today that I'm surprised they didn't search my car and interrogate me.

The barn fired baseball coach Sunny Galloway today. He was fired "with cause" but it was not announced what he did. AL.com hinted recruiting violations.


My favorite comment on the barn board. When the football team sucks this bad someone had to pay the price.

Looks like the Aub dumpster fire is no longer smoldering; full blaze. 
They play San Jose this week, then have a week off.  Likely they'll be crowing again after a big win over San Jose (who lost by 3 TDs to Air Force).   

No sign of a moon last night here; too cloudy.  Hope some of you got to see the 'Super Moon'.
