Title: "Proposed new rules for football"

These haven't been approved, but are needed.  My favorite:

The LSU rule: Proposing a framework to allow for post-game video review of players faking injuries in order to stop the clock and “slow down the opposition’s momentum.”

I assume this means the player will be punished for the next game.  Great idea.

Another one that is interesting:
...beginning with the third overtime, teams would run alternating 2-point plays rather than a series of four downs beginning at the 25-yard line.

No more 7-OT games.

I like it. The boogs were the worst at the fake injuries.

As far as the overtime goes, I don't understand why they don't do it similar to the NFL. JMO.

Apparently the NFL isn't happy with their mechanism.  Both NFL and NCAA want to shorten the games, and the NFL rules don't help that much.

This could be a beginning of some new days in football. RTR!

Instead of going to 2pt plays, I'd prefer 4 downs from the 10.  No FGs allowed.

The NFL system is too heavily determined by the coin flip, IMO.

Another proposed rule:  "Alabama can only be in the playoffs during leap years."
