Alabama football coach Nick Saban never wants to see a replay of Tide's Iron Bow

MOBILE, Alabama -- After a 10-3 season that he described as "not very satisfying," Alabama coach Nick Saban told a large crowd at Team Focus' "An Evening of College Football" event Monday that there are new signs hanging in the Crimson Tide's football facility.

"We have signs up in our building that say, 'never again,'" Saban told the audience at the Mitchell Center. "Can you imagine what 'never again' might mean? Being ahead in a game 24-0 and then losing the game 28-27? We don't want that to happen again."

Gosh my heart still aches over that game. I still believe we quit in that game but I might be wrong too. I sure don't think Auburn became 28 pts. better than us in one half. RTR!

Forget what?     Something about iron....vitamins?  No....  Oh, yeah!  Must be the lawn fertilizer with iron I need to get for fast green up.  I'm sure that's it.

That was a great article with lots of other stuff beside the IB.  I really liked this part:

Saban said other coaches in the conference complained during the SEC meetings about his appearance as an analyst on ESPN's halftime show during this year's BCS national championship game.
"And then they were really, really upset about the (ESPN) Roll Tide commercial, which I thought was wonderful," he added. "They were all trying to get (SEC commissioner) Mike Slive to say, 'Why should that be allowed, for one of the coaches to do the game and also to have a commercial?' It sort of directs the passion of 'Roll Tide' all over the state and how much passion we really do have. Seeing that commercial made me feel great."

   And people wonder why we're so proud of our coach.  Let's see who else could pull off a statement like that...Miles?  Uh, not if you scripted it for him.  And gave him a teleprompter.  Tubbs?  He thinks ESPN has something to do with telepathy.  And the oh-so-eloquent Cheeznip?  "That's pure garbage". 

I just don't get the jealousy for CNS.  Not at all. <dripping with sarcasm>

This is why I am so glad this man is our coach. He is smart, taking every opportunity to get the program more and more exposure. The other coaches are just ticked because no at ESPN really cares what they think. Like ssmithhhhh said, who wants to here the Hat spout Yogisms for 3 hours, or Chizik sit there with that stupid "Slingblade" look on his face. And that commercial is now my favorite of all time.

Wow ESPN is no great love of Alabama. If they let anything go on it had to be CNS doing it. Just see if they change their actions toward Alabama. Rece Davis never stands up for Alabama on any of the shows and I just don't understand that. RTR!

It's called being neutral and not a homer. He's paid to be neutral, not cheerlead for the Tide.
