Bama is very blessed this year with good/fast receivers. Hopefully we can unload on Ole Miss this Saturday with a good running game and use the receivers for the icing on the cake. Wink

That's what I am hoping for. I think the D gives Ole Miss fits, shuts down their running game, then attacks the QB. Ole Miss has 16 returning starters, so the D must be big.

Let's hope that either Coker or Bateman has a breakout game so we can take full advantage of our talented receiver corps.

They better be, since Ole Miss will stack the box to stop our running game, especially Henry. I think we see more of Damien Harris, too.

I've had this same thought.  Nobody (yet) on par with Julio or Coop, but lots of talented young guys who are only going to get better as they get more experience.  With two or three of them on the field with Howard at TE and Henry and/or Drake on the field, how does the defense defend that?  You can't commit to defending the run or pass, you can't double any receivers.

If Coker/Bateman is able to do anything more than hand the ball off this could be the most potent offense we've seen in a while.

You'll feel better about both WR and QB after the Ole Miss game.  Maybe we can go 18-24 passing with 300 yards, plus 200 yards rushing.

I'm expecting around 400 yards passing and 300 yards rushing on the way to 98-0.  Cool

We have the #1 recruiting class in the country. We have the best coaching staff in the country. So, what is to stop us from winning every game against anybody in the country? RTR!

MD, you asked on another thread, which I can't seem to remember which one it was, about Bo Scarbrough's knee and if it was okay. When he does his agility drills, which are very strenuous because they are performed bending over and making cuts to each side, you would never know he had been injured, he has no limp at all.

This isn't to say he won't go out there and blow it out again because this is football and anything can happen as far as injuries are concerned but I feel good about whether he is close to or 100% ready.

Great! Maybe he plays against Georgia.
