Now that I've showered from all the profuse sweating of the past few hours, here are my thoughts...

1)  If you are going to a game, don't be the douchey frat guy crying in the student section.  I have Sugar Bowl tickets and a va-jay...and I'm not shedding tears.  The bama fans should have been rallying instead of sad sacking it.

2) I still think the "interception" at the 1 was a bad call.

3) Extreme distaste for the personal fouls...hope Dre is ok.

4) I don't blame the kickers.  Thought it was weird they didn't punt on a couple of those attempts.  Really do you expect them to make a 50+ yd field goal look easy?  If I am gonna lay blame, it's on AJ.  Falling down like a punk in the most crucial moment?  SMH

5) I'm decking out in Bama gear tomorrow...still proud to be a Bama fan.  See #3

FG kicker lost this one.

Wrong. Saban lost this one.

Ultimately Saban is always responsible.  But I don't think he calls the plays for the O, does he?

I guess he does make the call on attempting the long FG though.

Knowing how Saban likes to micromange and control the game, don't you think he has final say-so on all the plays, especially trick plays? The two trick plays killed us.

Yeah, that was another mistake. He had Foster try a 50 yarder and our "short" field goal kicker try a 50 yarder that was partially blocked. Both should have been punted to try and pin LSU deep, instead they got great field position.

Folks, don't be upset. The sun will still rise tomorrow, many of us have beautiful children, our health, and many other blessings. Football is minor compared to those things.

I agree.  Plus, it's great to be from Alabama!  I too will wear my Bama gear tomorrow and will wear it with pride.

You're absolutely right!  You make me be proud to be a part of this board.

And ya know what...we never have to wear those heinous colors together to support our team  Grin

We don't  have time for all that running barefoot in the meadow stuff. It is time to start arguing our way back into the national picture. If this team does not fall apart the way we did after USCe last year, we have a chance to get back in the middle of it all. Think about who belongs on the NCG field more than we do?

I'm not a fan of the rematch scenario.  Either we lose twice to the same team or we win and then it's tainted anyway.  I'd love to see Boise State get their butt handed to them by LSU if we can't.

Here are my thoughts, sorry if some are obvious:
1. Bama should have won the game.  Bama is the better overall team and dominated most offensive stats, but left points on the field and made crucial mistakes.  LSU made fewer mistakes.
2. Les Miles once again outcoached Saban, in the sense that he played his style of game came out the victor.  His team left no points on the field, they maximized their potential in this game.
3. I thought the trick play with Maze out of the Wildcat was a good call.  The play should have worked but Brandon Gibson ran his route too deep and brought a defender with him.  Tight End Williams should have been able to hold onto the ball against a much smaller defender, but it appears that he put his right hand down to catch himself when he was falling rather than holding onto the ball.
4. It seemed to me that Bama was the team that eventually quit.  Maybe LSU wanted it more, or had more depth; Bama players were banged up by games end.
5. The play calling on the first overtime was ridiculous; once Bama lost yardage it should have focussed on gaining back enough yards to enable a field goal, rather than try for a TD.
6. The defensive play was outstanding and should have been enough for the win.  Only one breakdown all night, the pass late in the first half that led to a field goal.
7. AJ McCarron could not get the job done.  Also, see No. 4 above.
8. To be a championship team, Bama needs a better kicker.  Hopefully Saban will burn another scholy on one, or at least go out and recruit a good one.
9. I dont want to read Meltdown Time this week.
10.  I originally picked LSU in the pickem competition, because of the spread, but could not root for the game to go down like that so I broke my own rules and changed my pick to Bama.
