Jacob Coker was the solid No. 2 last fall, but Saban hasn't indicated he'll slide right up the depth chart by default. Continuity is an issue at times, but that's a product of practicing without a clear No. 1.
"I think most importantly over the summer, and in fall camp, we're going to need to establish, 'OK, here's the guy,'" Saban said. "But somebody's got to take the bull by the horns and do that too. It's not for us to give away, it's for somebody to earn. So, that's sort of the plan right now."
