If Bama plays like they did this past weekend and Hurts keeps under throwing, then I can see several INT"s  so Ole Miss 27-Bama 21, If not then Bama wins 31-14

For all future predictions I will just say that Bama will either win or lose. I'll never be wrong again!

If it is ever 49 to nothing at half time I will declare victory.  We almost made that against Auburn in Chizik's last year.  :lol2:

You can't use that score. That is the score of the Alabama-Ole Miss game in 1969. The game made Archie Manning a household name. First prime-time college football game on TV. I was a young teenager and watched the game. Manning had over 500 total yards by himself. What a game. The Tide won, rest of the season was crap for Tide.

My mother and I were watching that game on TV. The power went out midway through the 4th quarter. We were going crazy. It finally came back on for us to see the end of the game.

33-32 is a hallow grounds football score.  :worship:

You know MD as a youngster I had never heard of Archie Manning in Black and White till that day. I then at that young age thought he was the single best football player in the nation and nobody could beat him for that big Trophy as I thought of it back then. Was that not when Archie Griffin won the Heisman or am I wrong on that one? RTR!

Steve somebody RB from Oklahoma won the Heisman in 1969. The stat that stood out to me even then was he had a per rush average of around 4 yards a carry. Basically, he ran off tackle and up the middle. That was an awful year for the Heisman in my opinion. In 1970, Archie missed 4-6 games with a broken arm & Jim Plunkett, QB for the Stanford Indians won it. Incidentally, Plunkett led the 8-3 Indians to a victory over unbeaten & #1 ranked Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.

For a minute there I thought I had come closest, but I can seen that my simple numerical advantage pales against the predictions of others that captured many levels of psychological and numerological nuance. I should be ashamed of myself.

But seriously, this played out like I feared it would. Kelly is a baller. That boy looks like Sunday afternoons to me. And as the CBS graphic points out, we only lose when a great QB has a great game against us. The balls he delivered when he had anytime at all were figuratively in a bread box. And his tall and seasoned receivers knew just what to do with him. Had he not made either of the two errors, which luckily for us resulted in TDs, we'd be sitting on 2-1. Not taking anything away from the lads, but at least offensively, they were the better team.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Hurt will not being leaving those receptions for TDs on the field as he did yesterday. For a true freshman, the young man did an outstanding job and showed just the type of mental toughness we need.

i know the score of the game was great. I did however, hear Vern say something I thought would blow the game wide open.
He was spoke to and given some kind of prize from Archie Manning. When ask about it by Gary, Vern said "yes it was great having Archie Griffin give me that." ROFL, Gary had to go into the help mode immediately. RTR!
