You know I have to say the biggest surprise so far is Michigan losing to the Utes. I thought that might be a ver close games but the QB for Wolves throws to 8 FT. tall guys which he has none. RTR!
It is an interesting game. You can already see a change in Michigan, more toughness. It's the Harbaugh touch. He is playing some freshmen, because he didn't have the right type of players for his system. So they're young, making mistakes, but not quitters. I think this team will be good in a couple of years. Very good.
But it's a young Michigan team with a new system playing at altitude against an established, home team in Utah, which has had the same coach since Urban Meyer left for Florida, the same coach that faced Bama in the Sugar Bowl a few years ago. I was watching a preseason coaches' round table with PAC12 coaches, and every one of them agreed that they hated playing at Utah more than any other school. It was a guaranteed tough game, kinda like playing the Aggies in College Station I guess.
So I'm the opposite, I'm surprised the game is as close as it is. Michigan looks better than I expected. (Utah won
at Michigan last year 26-10. )
