Sure was happy for the win but much work needs to be done on offense especially the O line.

Defense looked good, offense was mostly inept, especially compared to the "Standard."

TA&M's D line looked vulnerable against Rice.  So maybe it will balance out.

The problem was that isn't their real D.  Those 6 suspended starters will be back in time for Bama, so we really won't know much about them before the game.

What Will Happen: Alabama will win, but it’s not going to be pretty. The final score will probably make it look like a mild blowout, but the Tide will struggle to get there with the Virginia Tech defense causing major problems running consistently. After this game the storyline will be, “What’s wrong with Alabama?  Instead, it should be about how Virginia Tech is rock solid, even if it loses.

In 2 weeks we will see improvement from our boys.  In 2 weeks JF will still be a little punk.  I like our chances.
