The Teague strip has to be the most memorable play in Alabama football history that "didn't happen." Looks like a 5 yard offsides penalty in the record book.

I still remember jumping up and down on that play, knowing all along we had a penalty coming. My wife got me a lithograph of "The Strip", autographed by George Teague, issue #25. It is proudly displayed on my "All things Alabama" wall in my office.

Don't forget Tommy Lewis and the tackle that didn't happen.

I resemble that, as the Kingfish used to tell Andy when he meant to say "I resent that." (Most of you fellows don't know who these characters are.)
