BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Police Department investigators took DNA evidence from LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson and searched his apartment Wednesday for evidence pertaining to the bar fight last Friday morning allegedly involving Jefferson and three other Tigers players.

BRPD Sgt. Don Stone said the investigation is continuing, and no charges or arrests have been made. He said police had "probable cause" to search Jefferson's apartment, but have no plans to search other players' homes.

"We have gathered enough probable cause to search for information to help either prove or disprove the allegations against him," Stone said.

Police obtained warrants for the search and to take a DNA swab from Jefferson.

Jefferson was home when the search was conducted and let the investigators in. He was later joined by Nathan Fisher, attorney for each of the four players.

Fisher said police obtained a warrant to search for items relevant to the case and walked out with bags of evidence.

Police said they are also looking into a video posted on a local radio station's website that allegedly captures part of the fight.

Match a shoe with a facial bruise, and JJ is history.  Must be lots of lying going on.

You don't suppose someone saw a gun at the scene?

I believe the police were looking for blood stained clothes. Blood that matches the victim.

Especially if there is some skin on the shoe from kicking him.

Bingo. Skin tissue and dude's blood on his shoes. That's what they're after.

Yes, being in them will probably be a lot worse than being under them by the time he is finished in court.

True.  Plus, right now you'd be in a garbage bag inside a police evidence locker.

Remember, the cops removed evidence. That is never a good thing. I think JJ is in trouble.
