FA gets 2 runs in the 4th to extend their lead to 3-0. We only have two hits so far.

Bama coming to bat in the 5th. We need base runners.

Bama losses their first game of the season 3-0. We only got 4 hits.

All things considered this was a successful trip to Florida Atlantic. We took the series 2-1. This same team took all three games in Tuscaloosa last year.

We are 6-1 and off to a good start. We return home to play Samford on Tuesday and host Tulane in a three game series next weekend.

I'm  pleased with where the team is at this point in the season.

Sure, I hate losing, but baseball is a game where you don't win them all.

The pitching has looked good, especially the relief pitching.

Fielding seems to be improved as well,

Now, if we could find a few long ball bats, we might be competitive again.

Anyway, Roll Tide
