Atlanta's bullpen is the worst in baseball. The Braves blew a 6-2 lead in the ninth and lost in extras. UGH!
The 2 new pitchers they picked up at the trade deadline, gave up all 4 runs in the 9th.

I know nothing about the new pitchers, but certainly one game won't tell us much. Hopefully the decision makers in Atlanta got some gems for the future.

False. The AL has had a better record in interleague play for the last 10 years. They also score more runs on average. Most experts think the NL has better pitching and the AL has better hitting and a DH.

Braves won 5-4 today (Sunday). Nats won too, so the lead remains 6.5 games.

The Dodgers have a 3-game set in Miami and then travel Friday to play some team in Atlanta for three games.
No lead will be safe. Both bullpens stink.

The Mets are one of the hottest teams out there right now. They will be tough this week. Then the weekend series against the Dodgers will be even tougher...I think the Braves will be lucky to win one of the two series...
