Merry Monday! I hope everyone had a good Easter. I played golf yesterday and for the second time in 2 weeks, I broke 80. One of the guys I was playing with just narrowly missed a hole-in-one. His ball rested about a foot and a half from the hole. The other guy in the group was in the trap and putted out before Charlie could mark his ball. He hit Charlie's ball, knocking it into the hole.

ALMOST a hole in one, but (as you know) the ball must be moved back to the original position.

Can tell you weren't playing with us; our shots from the trap seldom even hit the green, much less a ball near the hole!

That's usually the way it happens with us, but just goes to show; miracles do happen.

Wow, breaking 80 is good stuff, 2.

I always break 80 and usually break 90.   Occasionally break 100 on a really bad day.   Tongue

Thanks HL. It's the round that could gave been. I was 3 over par after 15, but my back failed me and I finished double, par, double. I did have 3 birdies and barely missed 2 more birdie putts, so I have a lot to take away from yesterday's round. Just in time; I'm going on a mini golf vacation on April 16.

Baylor, huh? Well, nobody had Baylor in their bracket, but congrats to HL for leading the pack. Preacher, you came in second. No totem pole holding for you. I came perilously close to having that duty.

Seems fitting that the favorite (Gonzaga) didn't win it, especially after all of the upsets.  I'm just glad I finished ahead of 2.

Good morning, all!

Watching the championship game last night, it was clear that Bama doesn't quite have the Jimmys and Joes (yet) that those teams have.

It takes some work and in 2 years we was in the big dance. I am not ashamed of where we are at this time. RTR!

My work trip to Kauai, Hawaii is back on... I'll be flying out of Huntsville on the 25th.  Will miss Mrs. Nalt's birthday but she said it's ok...  Cool
