Nick Saban updates Joshua Jacobs' injury as 2 Alabama starters get concussions

Saban said. "He [Jacobs] was actually cleared to play in the second half of the game but we did not play him."

Starting middle linebacker Reuben Foster "got a little concussion" early in the third quarter.

"We don't know how serious it is," Saban said.

And starting right guard Alphonse Taylor "got sort of a minor concussion." Lester Cotton, who started early in the season, entered in his place.

"We didn't want to push (Taylor)," Saban said. "Hopefully he'll be able to get better -- all these guys will get better in the future."

Hope they're all well by Saturday!  Concussions are iffy.

Yes sir and right Reuben worries me more than any because of how hard he hits. It would be easy for him to get another one real soon. I hope he learns what that shoulder is for. RTR!

This is bad news for Foster, he's had more than one concussion since he's been at Bama and how many more can he take per the team doctor. Hopefully this wasn't a big one but he was shaking his head side to side as he walked off the field.

I saw that. Was hoping that whatever it was, he was just shaking it off.

What's the difference between a "little" concussion and a big concussion. Is it like a "little" heart attack compared to big heart attack.
