Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen told reporters that Prescott, a sophomore, did not practice Sunday and his status would be clarified Wednesday.

If Prescott can't play, senior Tyler Russell would be under center for the third consecutive year against the Crimson Tide...

Hopefully Prescott can play.  He's a tough kid, and had a tough week before the A&M game (his mother died).

Remember, Ole Miss beat LSU while OM had a long list of injuries. 
Regardless, we shouldn't have a problem beating them.  I worry more about having injuries during the game; MSU is a very physical team!

As a whole the SEC has really been hit hard this year with bad injuries, especially Georgia and Florida.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen the number of injuries the SEC teams have endured this year. You're right, Chech, we can't let our guard down against them. Let's pray we come out of the game injury free.
