Good morning folks.  The rain started at the house in the early hours this morning.  It woke me up but I wasn't motivated enough to turn over and look at the clock to see what time it was.  Pretty steady rain still falling but nothing real hard.  Some thunder too.  Hope it moves on east of me by the time I get off work at 3:00 this afternoon...

Morning.  Hot tea today.  Coffee

We got hammered with high wind, lightning, and 2.5" of rain.  No damage that I've heard about here locally, but Vicksburg had flooding, and 2 people died in a Louisiana tornado.

Heavy stuff looks like its about 1-2 hours away. They've actually closed schools in some counties down here in anticipation of the severe weather. I've never heard of that for anything other than freezing precip.
