BEAUTIFUL day.  So I went fishing.  Here is a typical bluegill, Preacher; big and fat.  Caught a bunch of them and some smallish bass (all on flyrod).

Hey Chechem those look great. Just right to eat. RTR!

We made it to Charlottesville just fine.  Traffic was actually not bad at all going through Chattanooga either.  Course, Chech will probably call me a liar for saying that...   but honestly, I guess we hit it just right before the morning rush-hour got started.  Beautiful drive especially on I64 eastbound off of I81...

Nice bluegill there Chech... Applause E-Cred

Glad you made it easily and safely.
Hope you have good weather.  We get a line of thunderstorms tomorrow evening.
Thanks re the fish!

He swims on; threw him back.  But I saw the biggest bass I've seen in years.  It was on a bed, spawning.  HUGE thing, like a torpedo.

AND?  Come on Chech, this ain't no daytime soap opera.  Don't leave us hanging like that.  Tell the rest of the story how you caught this record breaking LM bass...

No, I didn't even try for it.  It was on a bed, spawning.
BUT, now I know where it lives!

Good morning.  Coffee

It's very warm this morning, already 65 degrees.  STORMS ARRIVE TODAY.  There is a line of strong thunderstorms to the west.  They should pass by here late this afternoon.  Meanwhile, light showers will be around us all day.

I'm off to a gun show, hoping to scout out options for NALT!     Be there all weekend.  Hope everyone has a good one.

TWC is saying there will be severe storms for the next several days, so everybody keep your eyes on the skies.

Good luck at the gun show, Chech. NALT, have fun in Virginia.

Well we are back from the Tyler Center at RMC at Anniston. After Mrs. Dottie had her insurance and Medicare it cost her 249.50 out of pocket. She almost didn't pay it and left. She had to have a MRI, X-Rays and blood work for her hip. They think it is a pinched nerve. Yall just pray for her. Looking forward to another beautiful day and more pics of the fish. RTR!

Wow, did anyone see the ending of the Gators/Wisconsin game?  Amazing last play to win it for the Gators...

We are having a great time in Virginia.  We have seen several of the Walton's celebrities.  I have some pics but will get more.  Here are a few of them.

This one is Eric Scott who played Ben.

Cissy Wellman who played Cissy Tucker (Yancy Tucker's wife)

Judy Norton who played Mary Ellen

John Walls who played Jason

And Mary McDonough who played Erin

We went to a concert tonight (Friday night) and Judy sang several songs.  She has a beautiful voice but I don't care for her style.  John Walls also sang and did a great set singing Blues.  He is truly an incredible musician.  I'll try and get more pics tomorrow that I can post...

Good morning folks.  We are fixing to head over to Schuyler, VA for an autograph session.  Looking forward to getting to talk with some of the show's cast again.  Someone keep an eye open on my place back home while the storms roll through, aight?   Wink

Ever get that hug?  Pics or it didn't happen!

I've got your back.  Storms won't be at your door for a couple of hours yet.

E-cred to NALT for the pics and to Chech for weathering the storm.  Applause E-Cred

Also, to everyone who picked 3 SEC teams to be in the Elite 8. Oops! There's nobody.

Dickie V was just on Sports Center rubbing all the talking heads' noses in it, about the SEC lighting up the tourney. He's not my favorite by any means, but that was good stuff. Whale of an ending to the Florida game.
