"It's about the best feeling in the world," Green said. "This is what you work hard for. It's everybody's dream to get to the tournament. It was a goal of ours as a team, and we accomplished that goal."

Green was happy for himself. Alabama coach Anthony Grant and teammate Andrew Steele were happy for Green, the only senior on the team.

"We've had a couple of hard years, but I think we've got 'Bama basketball back where it needs to be and where it's supposed to be," Green said.

It wasn't because of Mitchell and Green that got them there, he should be hugging the necks of some freshmen.

I hope Bama can win the 1st round game. After all the messes during the season, it would be a shame to go "one & done."

But getting in hopefully sends a message that CAG is going to succeed while doing things the right way. (Goodness that last phrase sounds familiar....)
