Title: Pac 12 Champ Game
Post by: McBaman on November 28, 2014, 07:43:54 PM
I know this was mentioned in passing in another thread but....  It will be AZ vs Ore.  From ESPN:

"The victory combined with Stanford's win earned the Wildcats a rematch with Oregon (No. 2 CFP, No. 3 AP) in the Pac-12 Championship game on Dec. 5 at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area. Arizona beat the Ducks 31-24 in Eugene on Oct. 2."

Full article:  http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=400548316

This could get VERY interesting if AZ beats Ore again.

Arizona has played very well down the stretch, knocking off Utah on the road and now this win over ASU. While I think UO gets the revenge win, AZ is going to give them all they want.

Oregon claimed that they lost to AZ because of injuries.  Now they have to prove it.   :popcorn2:

Oregon got beat at home, now they have to play at a neutral site.

At this point, where we are in if we beat Mizzoo, it doesn't matter who beats whom in the lower tier conferences. I say bring on all the big talkers. I'd like noting better than to whip the FSU-no-one-respects-our-unbeaten-record-Semenoles, and then go on to show Marcus Mariota the difference between flag football and tackle football.

Bama is about to start a new SEC Streak...  number of straight playoff championships won by an SEC team.   :-*

I don't think we are going to get a shot at FSU.  It looks like they will see Oregon in the first round.

If they manage to bumble and stumble their way past Georgia Tech.

I told my brother last night that I didn't think Bama would face FSU... FSU would find a way to lose before then.  But he was confident it would be a Bama/FSU championship game.   :popcorn2:
