This play comes to mind, but it doesn't characterize the rivalry as well for me as ...



this pic of the 1966 team vs Tennessee.  Bama won 11-10 in a rain storm.  The 1966 team gave up only 37 points all year.

I bet they still smoke cigars. CNS puts 2 defensive tackles in front of the locker room doors blocking them to keep out the bedwetters from coming in and poop pooping them for smoking cigars!

Don't remember what happened with Coffee in that game? But you are correct, sir! I remember Upchurch having a large night.

Very memorable game for me. I won a bet with my girlfriend on this game. I won't say what I won, but you can prolly guess what it was since this was so memorable to me. The last TD in this game was scored by Paul Spivey. I later dated his sister. She was a very sweet girl.

Here is Wilbur Jackson against UT helping you win that bet (wink, wink).  I knew him back then.  He was an excellent student; never needed the tutors (me) for his studies.  I still have his autograph on a calendar featuring that 1973 team.
