Nice job again! I just wonder how much all the fish weigh that you've caught. That would be interesting to know.  Thinking

The big ones: 2-3 pounds.  But they pack a punch on a flyrod, jumping and racing around the lake.  Quite fun.

This Brown Trout had hardly any spots; weird!

Today (Tuesday) at Ghost Village (Madison River) I caught this fine Rainbow Trout.  It was along this stretch of river where houses washed away following an earthquake during 1959.  Many of the houses' roofs are still along the river banks.

Thanks, guys.  Seems the critters just like to have their photos taken!

I'm back on the road into the park (RMNP) today, then south from there - somewhere!!

Not sure how far I'll get today.  I need to take more flower pics for LF:

Alpine Marigolds (only at very-high elevations, like 10,000')

Hey Chechem my wife, Mrs Dottie just loves your pics. thank you for her also. She is 1/2 Indian and she love animals and the outdoors. Never seen a woman like her. She loves fishing, only believes in killing for food not sport. lol, yea and we live in rural Alabama. lol, RTR!

Here are some pics from the last day at Rocky Mountain National Park and along the roadside during the return trip home.

Sandhill Cranes and babies (near Beartooth Mountains)

Pika; little hamster-like rodents that live above 10,000' elevation (RMNP).

Another Pika.

This Moose is wading the Colorado River.  Yes, the Colorado begins just a few miles from this location, and it's shallow enough to wade.

Bighorn Sheep at 11,500' elevation.  Brrr (33 degrees that morning) in RMNP.

Elk with ragged winter coat (RMNP 11,000').

Folks I've known have gone Elk hunting for years and never seen one. Moose hunting is a chore that can take days to locate, stalk and kill but here you've seen them and some mountain goats... Awesome... Applause E-Cred Applause E-Cred Applause E-Cred
