Quote
Following the recent departure of his high school coach, Lagrange, Georgia linebacker and University of Alabama commit Reuben Foster is planning to transfer to Auburn High School for his senior year, according to 247Sports.

Foster, who is rated the top linebacker in the nation and the No. 2 overall prospect in the nation by 247Sports, has been committed to the Crimson Tide since July of 2011 but has continued taking visits to other schools, including Georgia and Auburn.

What is he thinking?  Huh?

Maybe he's just rubbing some salt in Auby's open wound.

I hope this kid has thought out this decision.  Living in Auburn will be a serious test of his ability to keep his word.  If he sticks with his committment to Bama, that will be a testament to his character.  If he flips, then he'll just be another prospect who wasn't settled on what he wanted to do, and should not have committed in the first place.  Time will tell which he is.

Something is starting to smell awful fishy about this, I wonder what CNS thinks about it.  Huh?

This could be legit. I read last week that he wanted to go to a new high school becuase his HS coach had been fired (for cheating) and Georgia HS's would not allow him to take a heavy fall semester load so he could graduate early and enroll at Alabama in January. These guys that enroll early have a big advantage on the guys that don't come in until summer.

He is from LeGrange which is kinda near Auburn. Auburn HS has a decent program and may be a good option for him.

I hope he stays true to Bama. If not, there are plenty of good LB's out there that would jump at the chance to play for CNS and the Tide.

If he jumps to Auburn it won't be because of his love for football.  Wink

No place better than Auburn to 'smoke spice' and 'hit a lick'.
No sooner does the word get out than folks start flocking there.

I was big on spice before I found Vicodin.  I may have dental work done every week!

I am not sure what he has in mind but I want to hear him say I am still committed to Alabama. I just think maybe this to much for even a level headed kid. RTR!
