Indeed, you got the bird.
I spent many hours in the Audubon Sanctuary.  We once caught 12 cottonmouths in there for the UAB hospital (antivenom).

Thanks so much Chechem and X for wishes. It has been great so far. We have about 30 churches in our county total of all denominations and only 2 churches are not participating. He Chechem sure want to see a completed finished photo of your deck when completed Mrs Dottie is really enjoying looking at it too. Hey everybody we just broke the 2500 page point on here. RTR

   I got a text today.  He's still in Myrtle Beach, and still "playing well".
He may never return!!

Good morning, CRS. 

It rained all night, but nothing severe.  And it will be rainy all day today, at least that's the forecast.  The radar doesn't look that threatening.

Yesterday was work day.  I mowed the lawn, treated the weeds to a dose of herbicide, sanded the railings on the new deck, and did a bunch of minor jobs around the garage.  I'm still enjoying the birds that are flocking to the mulberry tree.  Very entertaining.  Today I'll help a friend with a project at his house: a new deck!  We have to buy the wood and hardware, so even if it rains we can get it started.   


Apparently 2 is enjoying his golf vacation immensely.  I've never been to Myrtle Beach, except to drive past, but it must fit his fancy.  He's been ignoring CRS for days now!   

Stay warm and dry, Preacher.  It'll be cool and damp today.
And NALT, stay a step ahead of those kids.  GOOD LUCK!

No problem with my back; we got rained out.  So I spent the morning making a table out of scraps.  I'll use it on the deck.

By the way, we got a full inch of rain.

Whew, it's good to finally be home! What a week. We did indeed, have high winds Sunday and Monday. After a shaky start, I caught fire the rest of the week. Monday, in 25-40 MPH winds, I shot an 80, an 84 on Tuesday and another 80 yesterday morning. Everybody wanted to play another round yesterday afternoon, and against my better judgement, did so. I was so stiff and sore, I could hardly swing the club, so I won't mention my score.

I apologize for not posting after Sunday. What I did post was on my phone because we had no wi-fi. With everything we had going on, I just didn't have any other chances. Anyway, it's good to be back.
