Good morning, gang.  Coffee

Finally got most everything unpacked from the trip; found a few things I forgot I'd packed!

...

Glad you and LF made it home okay. I don't have to ask how was your trip, the wonderful pics that you posted pretty much answers that question.

Yeah, and I don't have to say I'm eager for August 15th to get here; I'll be back there again!

You are something else!!! Applause E-Cred

I sold my boat Friday and plan on downsizing just a bit with another. The boat I had was a little big for me to park it at the new place so I needed to make a change. The fellow that bought our horse trailer was interested in it so I explained the problems that I had been having with it and explained what I now do to make it run ok and it made no difference to him, he wanted it. We also sold our pickup truck the same day to my BIL in Iowa. He was looking for a pickup and called to ask what we were going to do with ours, sold. We had a family to come to our place yesterday and wanted to buy everything in the barn that we didn't want, it reminded me of the tv show, American Pickers. They started going through the barn and asking what will we take for this and this and this. There was a couple of things that we put a price on that they said we didn't ask enough and paid us more. It was a lot of fun. I plan on buying another boat when we get relocated, thinking about something maybe in the Bass Tracker line, we"ll see. Have a good day!!!!!

Wow, J! Looks like things are lining up nicely for you. So glad to hear that. I just hope you don't have any major issues with the basement.

I like Chech's idea of fishing. After that, we play golf!

Actually it is a big issue, just glad I noticed it when I was doing some work in the basement. It was very unnoticeable behind the paneling. I'm glad it wasn't found on an inspection visit. I hired AFS to do the repair work and they spent about 2 hours here yesterday evaluating what needed to be done. They actually showed us some video on basements and the problems that come with having one. They won't do any of the repair work on the outside of the wall, everything is done in the basement itself and it isn't any kind of waterproofing put on the wall. They will jackhammer a 10" trench on the basement floor next to the to walls involved. they then put in a covered duct run with a sump pump on it. when water does come again it is captured in the covered duct run and pumped out. They will drill a hole in each bottom concrete blocks on the footing that will permit all the water that has entered the blocks to drain into the duct run and be pumped out. I have never seen anything like this before but they are doing a lot of homes with this system now, some are even new homes that are building a basement. It's costing me a little over $5000 but it should eliminate any future problems
. The big problem is I have to remove anything against the walls for them to do the work< jackhammer, and the shower in the bathroom has to be taken out so I'm hiring a plumber and carpenter to help with this. The man at AFS said that folks thinking the waterproofing that is put on the outside walls will take care of the water issue  but it won't.

The system we are using is called the Waterguard.

You'll be exhausted by noon just by staying out of Walmart.

Looking at your list, I will be doing 2, 3, 4, 7 & 8 myself, except 2 will be on the walking track instead of the gym.
