Good morning folks.  Looks to be a really nice day here too.  I took off work today so that Mrs. Nalt and I can go to Montevallo with the youngest boy and his class on their field trip.  I'm also going to take off tomorrow too I think to try and finish up the side job that I started.  I can finish the roof in less than an hour but then I need to finish the soffit and enclose the gable.  That shouldn't take me much more than 1/2 a day doing it all on my own.

Yeah Chech, I am going to have to leave the roofing to the next generation.  I had been planning on doing a full tear-off and nail on of the roof on Dad's house.  He is getting it ready to sell and it definitely needs a roof. I thought that I could do it for him and make some decent $$ too.  This "much smaller" job has taught me that my ability to do that are just no longer with me.

Sorry, buddy.  But at least you realized that before you injured yourself badly.  Welcome to OLD.

2, I have played "lately"; just last year with you and Jamos.

I guess relativity is in the eye of the beholder.

Yeah NALT, gravity is much tougher on you as you get older. Just sayin'....

Glad y’all had fun at the soirée yesterday, Chech. I saw where Preacher had to do a funeral. That’s never good unless it was someone suffering.

Fixing to wake up Mrs 2 and hit the road. I’ll need a nap when we get home. Didn’t get much sleep.

I hope everybody has a grand Sunday.

Yes, we had fun at the Double Decker Festival and the Ole Miss Baseball Game.  It was a full day!

C'mon, NALT.  My 75-year-old Dad just roofed 1600 sqft and 1200 sqft shops last summer.

(I wouldn't do it at 38 though.  It's not worth the hospital bills for the money I'd save).

Good morning, all.  Hope everyone has a great week.

My apologies to 2.  He told his reunion story over at The Woolly, and I congratulated him on making it to his 60th reunion.  When he said his wife claimed he looked good for his age, I just assumed...

Can you get your dad to give me a price on doing Dad's roof and then check his references?  K-thanks...   Wink  Look at me getting things done...  Cool

Beautiful migratory birds are still here.  Today I photographed this Rose-Breasted Grosbeak (with my cell phone through my binoculars).  I'm practicing for the next trip westward.

There seems to be a bit of blurriness in his chest.  Can you retake that pic please?

I was focused on his eye.  Shows how narrow the depth of field was, and how expertly I managed the shot.
