Alabama practice report: One last look at T.J. Yeldon, Cam Robinson heading into Mississippi State game

-- Alabama RB T.J. Yeldon was limping just a bit as he participated in most individual drills. His recovery from a sprained ankle has him doing more today than he was at this point last week, when he was recovering from a foot injury. Nick Saban addressed his status earlier today.

-- LT Cam Robinson (ankle) was limited earlier this week but there's no sign of that today. Austin Shepherd worked at right tackle, per usual.

-- TE Brian Vogler continued to wear a brace on his left knee but wasn't hindered during multiple drills, some of which involved contact.

Sounds positive. 
Yeldon won't be 100%, but I remember a certain Iron Bowl (1971) in which Johnny Musso had a foot injury, and was expected to be extremely hampered or miss the game.  He played the entire game.  He played VERY well, and Alabama won 31-7.  The Aubs were undefeated before that!

One of my favorite games of all time. My favorite player of all time in college I think. I use to love his nickname "The Italian Stallion."  That was one of the great backfields in Alabama history. I can't remember the QB though, thinking it was Scott Hunter. RTR!

Always called, "Little Terry Davis". 
Prolly the last time (before this year) we started a year without a QB for the system in place, and relied on a runner to play QB.
