"The offense kind of struggled and we kept getting back on the field – a lot of turnovers," said Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley. "We had to make sure the defense was right because it was up to us to keep the score what it was. Because if we let them score, it would have been a whole different ballgame."
After Saturday's 20-7 win over the Bulldogs, top-ranked Alabama's defense has allowed only 50 points in the eight games since surrendering 42 to Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M. And after some early-season concerns, they are rounding into a unit that looks championship-ready.
