Still a few weeks from starting USC game plans, it's a daily battle between Humphrey's secondary and a loaded receiver group.

With Calvin Ridley, ArDarius Stewart, Robert Foster and grad transfer Gehrig Dieter, the Tide receivers have considerable preseason hype.

So who wins in practice?

"We all work hard every day, because they're going to talk trash and we're going to talk trash, so everybody gets after it every day," Ridley said. "And it's good competition, it makes everybody better."

Humphrey was diplomatic.

"Ha. That's a good one," Humphrey said. "I don't know, I think we have our days."...

Like to know how that battle is going too!

I like our chances of having DB's who can cover anybody in the nation than anybody else's covering our WR's. It has to make each group so much better I believe. RTR!
