There are rumors coming out of Missouri that Pinkel is going to resign tomorrow.  This would make 5 SEC head coaching positions available.

Is he resigning because he figured out he was going to be dog meat in the SEC? Maybe he will return to a lesser conference like the MAC, Big East, or Big 12 and have a better chance of winning.

Would not surprise me.  Pinkel has been at MO 12 years, and he has gone stale.  He got a DUI last year, and a divorce final this October.  He rides his Harley through campus.  Sound familiar?  Anyway, while he has had some success at MO, and inherited a terrible program 12 years ago, his program has been on the decline even before MO joined the SEC, and they ultimately will need a different coach to compete.

Good points. I bet you are right, he just needs to get away and recharge his batteries, maybe with a young blonde.

Good Lord, is CNS running all these coaches off? You know as of 3 weeks ago CNS is after the guy at TA&M because of what  he did to us. Beat them down coach and make them quit. It is coming gentlemen and ladies. RTR!

That Sumlin guy is a great coach.  I don't see CNS running him off anytime soon, although a beat down is on the menu.
