Title: Kent State worries about its QB getting hit during the game
Post by: Old Tider on August 29, 2011, 07:14:36 AM
Ohio paper says they need to "keep starting quarterback Spencer Keith upright."  No chance.

They should just play their 3rd string QB for this game.

I think that's likely.  But it'll take a few plays to get to their 3rd string.

They better save somebody for their September game with South Alabama.

Alabama defensive players just need to help Kent State's QBs up after they bust his butt.

I kind of feel sorry for their QB.  He truly doesn't stand a chance against our D.
I bet they are wishing they hadn't added Bama to their schedule!

ROLL TIDE ROLL!

We're giving them a million reasons to play us.  That should cover most of the medical bills.

I wonder if they will come out of the locker room and take pictures and video the stadium like the San Jose State players did last year.  They were shell shocked.  Kent State's stadium holds a whopping 20,500.

Yeah, but the QB gets none of that.  Unless he plays at the barn.

It is good to be confident. I feels like a cakewalk, but I remember a team from LA. one time that we should walk all over and that poor worthless bunch of boys came to BD stadium and embarrassed us. I guess we need to win by 60 to help my feelings, BUT CNS is not going to do this to KSU I don't believe. RTR!

It is getting close.  It is so close that I was able to find the game on the satellite menu today and set it to record.  I will probably be at a pee wee football game when it starts.

:(

We need to use this to refer to our defense this year, and get it all over the TV broadcasts.  That is so cool I should go off and make a wallpaper or something.

Do like I do when I can't watch a game live. Call anybody who is likely to call or text you about the game and threaten to burn their house down if they so much as think about contacting you. Don't listen to the radio on the ride home and, voila, you have a live game.

I just don't answer the phone.  I just hope nobody brings a radio to the pee wee game.  It won't be too bad though since it is Kent State.

Any ideas?  I suppose flames are required, but I don't think I want it to look like he is standing in hell or something.

If we could incorporate the schedule into it that would be pretty cool too.

Bama already has Coach "Satan" to some detractors, so Donta's inferno fits right in.  I like it.  Great idea.

Title: KSU Quarterback
Post by: Elephantidae on August 30, 2011, 01:40:51 PM
Maybe we should loan them one of our two starting QB's.  That would solve our QB controversy since both would then be starters.  The only trouble is that whoever gets loaned to KSU will get hurt and be out for the year.  Or we could just give their QB a black jersey.

I'll loan them Brian Burgdorf, if he still has eligibility left.  ;)

Everybody needs a candy striper for an assistant. Look at those heart shaped buttons.

Any one of these has a better face, better maguffies (the Candystriper has none), and probably a better personality.  Legs?  Not so much.

QB pressure is a very key stat for this team, the lack of cost Bama a chance for another NC last year.

With the team starting out virtually healthy, I don't think that will be a problem. These guys are really going to be hungry.

Plus, it's been a priority since last year's first games.  The Miami scandal ruined our start last year (Dareus), and injuries hampered it after that (Upshaw, Dareus).  We had to go all the way to Australia to find a fix.
