It was also coaches wanting to know how long he would be there when he interviewed them. I hated to see him retire, but it probably was the best option. I love that the world will now see the best retired college football coach demonstrate how you turn the program over to the next guy so he can keep it rolling.

I remember Saban's first. My brother and I were in the stadium early and just sat in amazement as people kept showing up and them having to open previously closed sections of the stadium.. Then it turned out they turned away an estimated 15k.
