Alabama coach Nick Saban spoke candidly about the Tide's offensive struggles away from home. On his Thursday night radio show, Saban said he saw lower levels of confidence in the 23-17 loss at Ole Miss and the 14-13 win at Arkansas. Communication lacked and with it came uncertainty....

"When we play on the road ... the quarterback ― because of this anxiety that gets created ― doesn't really get us into the right play all the time," Saban said." Or in a critical play, we don't get it changed right. So I just think the big thing is we need better focus and better confidence in terms of what we're doing. Guys cannot play with anxiety."

The quarterback, Blake Sims said a lot's changed in the few short weeks since hitting his low point at Ole Miss.

"I grew from it in a lot of ways," Sims said. "Knowing what I have to do and showing it through my practice ability. Just trying to show the team that the feeling I had wasn't good. Whatever I have to do ― if I have to push you even harder, if I have to yell at you ― whatever I have to do not to have that feeling again, let's do it." ...

Sims: "After what we did this past week, I'm ready to see what we can do on the road," he said. "Show everybody we can bring it from home and take it on the road and keep the same intensity."

Very interesting.  We need to see a confident, dominant offense today.

I think playing reckless is the key, playing to win rather than playing not to lose. ;)
