Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver and former Alabama star Henry Ruggs was involved in a car accident early Tuesday in Las Vegas, TMZ reports through law enforcement sources. Ruggs, 22, was in a wreck in the central Las Vegas Valley area around 3:40 a.m. according to the initial report and his condition is unknown at this time.

Local reports indicate a fatality was involved in the crash.

His best friend in HS was killed in a car crash a few years ago.  Sad

This is so sad for a young talent to be swept away by Drunkenness which every drinker knows they can handle the alcohol with no problem. Then usually when something happens it was somebody else's fault.. He will have to live with this the rest of his life. RTR!

CNS always tells guys "nothing good happens after midnight."  Too bad Ruggs didn't learn that while he was at Bama.  He's in serious trouble.  Not only might he do time, but if convicted, he could be sued for wrongful death.  Oy!

An ESPN release said that his car was going 156mph a short time before the crash, and his BAC was over twice the legal limit.

I guess that confirms what most people assumed.   This is just not good in any way.

By the time they're done looking through that car they'll probably toss in drugs and porn too.  Not that I'm accusing anybody among the authorities...
