There is an extra room.  First come first served.  Close to many locations.  Tour guide extra.

My main question is parking for the game.  I've been to Rangers Stadium and the old Cowboys stadium, but not Jerry's place.  Any advice you could give for that would be appreciated.

There is parking all around the stadium.  The main problem is JJ is going to get his money for the parking.

I found out that you can go to Lincoln Square to Sherlock's Pub and can take a shuttle to the stadium.  I hear the parking can go as high as $75.00.

You are not far from DFW airport and not far from Grapevine.

Decent area?  Recommendations for food, entertainment?

Yes, it is a decent area.  It is close enough to Grapevine to drive for food.  There is a steak place called the Keg in Irving.

Had a great time with a lot of old Neb ex players, including Dave Remmington, a couple of years ago.   Cool River is in Irving not far from where you are staying.
If you can be more specific with your taste I can tell you more.

We are staying at the Omni in Las Colinas, which is offering a discount for the weekend.

Thanks hsc for the parking tip.  We might try that -- it appears that you need a merchant receipt in your car for parking, plus $3 for the shuttle.  You can get a shuttle pass online if you buy a $40 gift certificate to one of the merchants (don't think we will do that).

I will be with my brother and his 13yo son, so we're not looking for any nightlife.  A decent place to eat (nice not overly formal/pricey) to eat Friday night and then something to occupy some time Saturday morning/early afternoon is what we're looking for.  We were thinking of taking a tour of Rangers stadium that morning.

We'll be coming in Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning.

We arrive on Saturday, then straight to the stadium.

Baja is not that expensive.  Stadium tour would be nice.  There is also other eating options if you don't want Mex.  Saltgrass steak house is good.

Thanks for all the suggestions.  I will scout out some of those places on the innerwebs.
