He capped off a terrific college football career by helping Alabama win the 2009 national title. A two-year starter at strong safety, Woodall figured to make a living in the NFL. He came out of the 2010 combine expecting to be drafted somewhere between Rounds 3 and 5. But Woodall learned firsthand the uncertainty of the NFL draft. He wasn't taken. Once he endured the initial shock, Woodall "shook it off pretty fast."
