Click here for linkTuscaloosa Northridge star Bo Scarbrough and Hoover defensive back Marlon Humphrey were ranked the No. 7 and 8 players in the nation for the Class of 2014, respectively, and both were rated as five-star prospects by 247Sports.
Scarbrough, a 6-foot-2, 218-pound athlete, had his sophomore season shortened by an ACL tear but has since recovered fully and is impressing scouts and analysts on the spring training camp circuit with his skills as a running back.
"Bo Scarbrough is impressive physically. There aren't too many backs at his size that have the speed he does," said 247Sports recruiting director J.C. Shurburtt. "That being said, because he's already 6-2, 218, there is a chance he could project elsewhere. Regardless, he's an excellent prospect in terms of long-term projection and a dominant high school player."
Humphrey earned 1st team all-state honors in Class 6A last season after the 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback emerged as a dominant force for the Hoover defense.
"Humphrey jumps out on film and has everything you want in a corner prospect: size, speed, hips, etc.," Shurburtt said. "It will be interesting to see how much better he can get because he's already so polished with two more seasons of high school football." ...
