Well it sounds like a lot of playing time by young ones and the better teamsters got some rest. RTR!

UAH is a very good Div II team. They are a seasoned group of upper classmen who have played together for several years. They do not have the size or speed to p[lay with Alabama. We played bad. We got off to a terrible start falling behind 14-1. Late in the game Giddens took over the game. They could not match his size or strength. He showed touch around the basket. Once he stepped out and hit a nice jump shot from the elbow. Ingram and Petty played well at times. Other than Giddens Herb Jones impressed me the most.

Bama tried to pull away at the end but UAH hit three desperate 3's to keep the final difference under 10 points, We missed Norris and Key.

I am worried the NCAA will take its time clearing Sexton. If he or his Father did something wrong he needs to sit.

I just saw the scroll strip on the SEC Network stating that Sexton was apparently the unnamed player identified in the federal complaint against Chuck Person. According to the complaint, Al assoc. AD, Kobie Baker accepted bribes from Michel and a cooperating witness, to influence Bama players to sign with a financial advisor once they turned pro.

Crap! Do we need to unbuckle our seat belts?

Anytime you deal with the NCAA you never know where you really stand. There are a lot of different stories/opinions out there on this and who knows who or what is right. I'm not so sure of how much Collin is involved with any of this at all. The report is Baker was acting as a middle man to influence parents/players to use a certain agent when and if they decide to go pro. I'm not sure if that is all of the real meaning of the so-called passed money that is involved.

From what I have heard there may have been money offered to Collin's dad in a bathroom but I am not sure if this is factual. I haven't heard anything about any money being offered to Collin to play at Bama and that was what had me concerned the most. This case sort of reminds me of Cam Newton, the dad involvement, but different in that a school wasn't offering any money but an individual was.

Again all of this is basically grapevine talk and I don't know how much or if any is factual but it is what is making the circuit now. I attended a REC meeting tonight and there wasn't a lot of chat about the Sexton case but one person I trust did tell me there is nothing to worry about. The thing that scares me the most is the NCAA. We don't have a very good track record with them in past experiences. I also don't trust Chuck Person.

I'm pretty sure something will break before the regular season starts.

Well, J,  I'm glad to see that you are scratching your head as much as I am.  It sounds to me like Collin is a victim in all this.  Like it was all going on around him without his agreement or participation.  I hope it gets sorted out soon.
