I have to agree with you on the cajun food. I will stick with a Bama Belle when it comes to women.

I love the food as well as Cajun ladies. I hope we are in the newly renovated superdome come 01/09/2011. I am looking forward to eating in NOLA as well.

Welcome to the forum LSURules.  You are indeed our first LSU fan, as far as I know.  We only started the site a few months ago and are getting ready for our first football season.  So far we have managed to keep the discussion respectful, without any of the bickering, personal attacks, flame wars, and other antics that plague most message boards.  We have a great community here and we welcome rival fans that want to stop by and contribute.

I just gave you the customary +25 e-creds for your first post as a welcome.

As some of you know, I lived in New Orleans as a kid.  Our scout pack got free tickets every year to the LSU-Tulane game at Tulane Stadium (or another game during the off years).  I loved those LSU games.

I matured and got out just in time. Grin

Hey Reuben, how was her spaghetti gumbo?

LOL, she could have prolly done it up right!

Here is something for y'all. She invited me to her parents house for Sunday dinner. She had three brothers, who actually liked me. ( She said that was a first, they NEVER liked her boyfriends before me).  When it came time to eat, her father, brothers and I sat and ate. When we finished, we went into the den and watched football, and smoke cigars. Her mother, sister-in-laws and she, cleared our plates and then they sat and ate.

Sounds like they didn't want him anywhere near her.

Only place I'd ever been where then men ate first,a nd women did not eat until the men were done. Almost had a "Stepford Wives" feel to it.

And no, they didn't mind her being near me, they liked me very much!
