A very good win for the Dores, I thought the plate umpire and the third base umpire played a big role in Virginia's comeback. Had the batter been called out on his third strike swing in the Cav's 3 run inning as he should have, none of those runs would have scored. You never want to leave the outcome of a game on the judgement of an umpire or ref.

Super proud of the Vandy players. The are such a learning instituion, that sometimes it hampers them getting really good players. Now we know they have some smart kids and good at sports. RTR!

Virginia won easily last night.  It was almost like Monday night's game, minus the third inning.  I think Vandy might have left its pitcher in too long.  Virginia's pitcher pitched a complete game.

Virginia had the better team but Vandy played to win the game last night rather than not to lose it, this was the difference from the second game the night before. It was a great win for the school as most people consider them to be the doormat of the SEC because of their size but they showed a few folks tonight that they deserve their place in the SEC.

Great win for the Vandy program. Coaching makes a difference in any sport and Vandy has a good one. Vandy did not have the better players but they had the better team.

I am already looking forward to next year. Bama should continue to improve and the new baseball that will be used should bring the long ball back to the college game.
