Great haul, Chech. Where'd you fish?

I fished in a friend's lakes near Oxford.  The fish were only active in the shallow areas.  None were bedding yet.  My friend caught a bunch too.  All catch and release.

 

Man it's foggy here today.  And it's 64 degrees NOW!!   

Well, congrats on the catch. I know the warm weather didn't hurt. Going up to 76 here today in Greenville. Too bad I have to go to Columbia for a meeting. We're leaving tomorrow for Pensacola and plan to stay a week. I sure hope the weather is good there. I plan on doing some golfing and FISHING!

Yeah, sorry to hear about the funeral in Pensacola.  Glad you'll have some free time.

Timing isn't good for me.  I have a knife show in Tupelo all weekend; setup is noon Friday.  And the cold weather returns Friday too; even chilly in Pensacola.  Monday there is a recital by LF (and I'm expected to be there -  ).  Tuesday??

Tuesday works for me. Come on down!

It was quite foggy on parts of my drive this morning.  It's quite odd waking up at 4:45 to temps in the 60s.  IN FEBRUARY!

You boys don't get into too much trouble next Tuesday.  And just an FYI, Chech, Stater isn't a reliable second source for fishing tall tales.    HTH.

Good thing the basketball game isn't tonight.  It would be a tough decision between Bama B-ball and the SOTU address.  Neither crowd will spend much time on its feet.

Well the trip to VA B'ham was really good till I run out at the end of I-20/59 and had to get on 280 and it was like everybody wanted in the same lane. Crazy bunch of people. Well DR. said my cancer was not in my back yet but my white blood cell count was really way high and my Blood Sugar was 304. RTR!

Praying for you, Preacher. Doesn't sound like a great diagnosis. I hope they can get things under control for you.

I'd love to do that 2.  However, even though I do have plenty of leave available to take, I also have class on Tuesday night and Mrs. Nalt would kill me when I got home... I might try and plan something soon though. 

BTW, is the campground at Ft. Pickens open now?

Good morning, all. 

It's warm (66) and foggy (what's new?  ), but the COLD air returns Friday.  We have a yard full of daffodils, and the winter honeysuckle is wonderfully fragrant.
