Post by: cbbama99 on January 10, 2014, 07:51:43 AM
I not sure that I am ready for little cbbama to be turned into an hors d'oeuvres. This is a fatal mauling just waiting to happen:

My daughter goes to UNA and they have a lion habitat with a full grown male and female. During my daughters freshman orientation I skipped out on a parents session that I expected to be extremely boring. To kill an hour I walked around campus and ended up at the lion habitat. The lady who takes care of the lions was there and we talked for awhile. She told me she has raised these animals since they were babies. They know and like her very well. The habitat id double fenced with a walkway between fences. To pet the lions she puts her hand through the inner fence and the lions come to her. She told me she did not think they would ever hurt her but they still have animal instincts and she is very careful to keep her distant from them.

The moral of the story is do not pet dangerous animals if you want to keep all your body parts.
