Well it is good to be back this this morning. All went well at the VA Hospital yesterday, they got the biopsies done. Have to return on the 21st for the reading of those. Right now throat is amazingly sore so no fussing with Mrs Dottie she wins all arguments,  Angry, the doctor told her afterwards that some of the dry places that found were gone. The others they will test, so God still heals. Hope you all have a great day I have a lot of reading to catch up on. I hope no injuries so far this week. Chechem I hope you get a boat load of fish this weekend. RTR!

Glad you completed all testing.  Prayers for you that all is well and you get a good report on Sept 21st.
 Pray

Sip on ice for that throat.  And stay away from tomato or other acidic products.  Maybe some throat lozenges.

I'm off to a gun show this weekend, so no fishing.  But I have lots of fish pics to enjoy in the meanwhile.

Happy game day! I hope the games today aren't all as lopsided as last night's game. Well......except the Bama game.

Morning All. Coffee

I watched the Louisville game last night and I don't think I remember ever seeing so many points scored in such a short period of time. I think Louisville scored 21 points in the first 5 plays of their possession, just unreal. I had them picked on the Pickem so I didn't mind it so much.

Check, you have had one of the most entertaining summers of anyone that I can remember, kudos to you and LF because that is what retirement should be all about. Really enjoyed your pics.

Preacher, you and Miss Dottie have had many challenges of late and I admire your courage. My prayers go out to both of you.

A while back I asked all of you for your prayer support for my BIL in Iowa in his battle with cancer and that request still stands. He has been a trooper in his battle with the deadly disease and it has been an uphill battle for him. His only chance of winning the battle though is through experimental medications and treatments and it's hard to tell if anything is working for him. I thank all of you for your support.

It really felt good waking up this morning knowing we would be going out to Bryant Denny and enjoying the crowd. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and RTR!!!! Pray Cheesy

Jamos, prayers continue for your BIL.  And thanks for the kind words.

Bama could find itself in a contest today.  The Hilltoppers have a worthy team, and if they can play under control they could make it entertaining.

Like most, I want a blowout.  But today might not be such a day.  Hopefully we'll be able to play everyone, get a shutout, and have a fun day.  Jamos, I wish I were there to share the fun.  Cheer loudly (as only YOU can).

I agree with you about how tough this game might be. I said all week that it will be a big challenge for the coaches to get Southern Cal out of the players minds but even a big challenge today might not be so bad for the team as their schedule only gets tougher in the games ahead. Bama has a good team right now but if they can keep their heads screwed on right, they could be a great team. There's so much talent in the young ones and CNS has chosen to play most of them this year.

Good morning everyone.  Jamos, prayers for your BIL as well as for you too Preacher.  Chech, remember to "keep the bull end towards the woods" with all of those guns today.  Also, I second everything that Jamos said.  I know I'll never get to do what you did this summer but it sure would be fun...2, I'll be somewhere in North Alabama cheering on the Tide today, hopefully back home by game time but not sure.
