This is not a good year for Chizik to have a down year, with both coordinators leaving last year.  Here's to hoping they have just enough success for him to keep his job.  Unless of course they have another 5-19 coach-in-waiting ready to go, in which case I say bring on the new stooges.

here is what is really worrying me  Banging your head against the wall.
if that freakin storm is where they are saying it will be on 8/30
what the chances the power will be back on in time for the game ?

I've got a generator but without power there will be no WWW or cable TV  Banging your head against the wall.

In Pensacola, Ivan was much worse than Katrina. We all pulled our weight to put things in order and the media disappeared, unlike Katrina. If Isaac comes this way, we will be watching the game from Atlanta, Greenville, or anywhere other than Pensacola. Balleedat!

I promised Mrs. 2 that if we made it through Ivan, we'd never stay for another one. Our ceiling collapsed under the weight of the water that flooded in, due to most of the roof being gone. Dennis was heading straight for Pensacola the following June. We weren't there. Luckily for Pensacola, it took a sharp turn east just before landfall and heavy damage was avoided.

I'm supposed to go fishing in the Gulf Saturday with a business associate on his boat, but they're calling for 3-5 ft. seas. Looks like golf instead.

Fishing should be good Saturday, if you have the stomach for it.  Trolling is better than anchoring if it's rough.  I'd go fishing.
