Title: Graduation Weekend in T'town
Post by: McBaman on December 14, 2017, 07:15:29 PM
Among those receiving diplomas are...Rolando McClain and Glenn Coffee.  Congrats to those two gentlemen for persevering.   13 current players also graduating.

This is the most positive thing I've heard about Rolando in a while.  I hope he can build on this.

Amen! I hope this is solid evidence of him turning things around in his life.

I never attended my graduation ceremony.  Wonder if I can join them?

 :dunno:

#+ to Rolando and them all.

Coach Burton Burns must be one of the happiest Coach's around with the news of Glen Coffee getting his degree. He told me the story of Glen Coffee as a player and how he came to Bama as a rogue but turned his life around and finished his career at Bama as a fan favorite. Coach Burns still has Glenn's picture on his office wall as a reminder to not give up on a player.

Good stuff! I read somewhere that Coffee was going to try to make it back in the NFL, but since I no longer watch the NFL, I don't know if he succeeded or not.
