"Ewers suffered a sprain of the sternoclavicular joint in his left (non-throwing) arm after a hard hit from Crimson Tide linebacker Dallas Turner as he was leaping to throw a pass that was ultimately incomplete."

Chech: ACTUALLY, HE WAS THROWING THE BALL AWAY, AND SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A PENALTY.

Agreed and Dallas was in the air with no parachute to stop him. Really bad penalty. RTR!

It was a legit roughing the passer call.   It definitely fit the definition of grounding as well.

Yeah, the roughing the passer part was correct due to Turner putting the full weight of his body onto Ewers. There was nothing late about the hit. It was also definitely intentional graounding by Ewers.

Well I hope we can turn the penalties around. RTR!
