ESPN Dick Vitale: Super six teams to watch for

Dick Vital has listed Alabama as one of his Super Six teams to watch for next year. Good times ahead for the Bama Basketball program.

I know that fans down in Tuscaloosa are talking about the pigskin and Nick Saban as a national championship contender. However, Anthony Grant has a club that will make some noise too. The Tide missed out on the NCAA tournament last season, but they have Sweet 16 material coming back. JaMychal Green and Tony Mitchell can dominate up front, and I love Trevor Releford in the backcourt. Fans will be smiling down in Crimson Tide country!

I am not a big fan of Dick V. but I do like his judgement of Alabama here. I do however, hope we keep it under the radar until after the SEC Tourney, lol, no I know it won't happen. CAG has done a superb job and will build a powerhouse but after last year's debacle by the NCAA I look to win big this year. RTR!

We went through this once before about DV. I've met him and enjoyed the exchange. He's solid, if not a bit extreme. He knows basketball, inside and out. Football, not so sure.
But, like Ricky, I like his opinion this time.

That's a good thing to get some love from Vitale. He's in that inner circle of sports gurus that can help Bama with the right kind of recognition needed to sway needed votes when they are needed.
