Alabama is now #2 behind Florida in the overall rankings. 

They are now also in the top 5 in all of the events:

Vault #3
Bars #3
Beam #3
Floor #2

We have several individual gymnasts in the top 25 as well

All Around - Kayla Hoffman 6th
Vault - Diandra Milliner and Kayla Hoffman 2nd, Ashley Sledge and Geralen Stack-Eaton 13th
Bars - Geralen Stack-Eaton 14th, Kayla Hoffman 16th
Beam - Geralen Stack-Eaton 1st, Kayla Hoffman 9th, Sarah DeMeo 16th, Kim Jacob 20th
Floor - Diandra Milliner, Kayla Hoffman 9th


Alabama closes out the regular season at home this Friday against #22 LSU.

We have an outstanding gymnastics program. If you have never been to a home meet you should try. The ladies put on a very good show. Ticket prices are reasonable too.

I live outside Atlanta so I went to the meet at Georgia.  It was amazing how composed our ladies were.  While our first gymnast was on the balance beam, the UGA fans were doing the wave.  They were really loud but stopped after about three rounds when they saw that it was having absolutely no effect on our poise.

Well I know Coach Sarah does a good job. These girls when I watch on TV they do some of the most awesome flips and twists and turns. It is unbelievable what they do on the bars. We love you young ladies please keep on keeping on! RTR!

 I was in town and got to watch them go against Penn State and it was a great show. And the best part is that they are a young team.

The best gymnastic event to go to is the "Power Of Pink". They do it once each year. It was against KY this year.

The UGA meet was their "Pink Out", so Bama actually participated in 2 Pink Meets this year.  We wore our pink leotards for the night.

In the UGA student section, there was a group of guys in black body suits with pink letters spelling Save the Tatas.  Smiley
