On what he considered when making the decision: "For me, it's never been about money. It's the next stage of my life. I feel like I'm ready to take that next step. I came out of high school early and a lot of people questioned that, questioned going to Alabama. Wondered if I'd be able to produce there and I was able to do that and show everybody that I was able to play with elite players there. I'm just ready to take that next step and play professional football." ...

Hopefully the NFL is ready for him.   :popcorn2:

Great job from Vinnie on CNS and CKS. I like how he has matured. He is a great representative. I wish you, Vinnie, all the best in the world. RTR!

Vinnie's Dad did not give him good advice IMO. I hope he does OK but I would not be surprised if he does not get drafted.

A coach’s son, Sunseri has requisite athletic ability for the pro game, but his head for the game rates among his best traits. Has the size, tackling ability and dependability to make a living as a backup and core special-teams player. Draft stock could be impacted by 2013 season-ending torn ACL.

Does Vinnie really think that he was a legitimate All-American before his injury this year?  Sal is setting his son up for a lot of disappointment I'm afraid.

An average player that works his rear off and has good football knowledge can be an above average player in college. Vinnie fits that role IMO. There are exceptions but average players regardless of work ethic and knowledge rarely have a successful NFL career.

I project Vinnie to be about like Robert Lester. A late pick or free agent. Lester made the practice squad and got a break because of an injury. He made the most of his opportunity.

True.
I'd like to have 11 players with his heart on the field.
But heart and an ACL history won't carry him far in the draft.  Hope he gets drafted.   ???
