Vinnie fits that role IMO. There are exceptions but average players regardless of work ethic and knowledge rarely have a successful NFL career.
I project Vinnie to be about like Robert Lester. A late pick or free agent. Lester made the practice squad and got a break because of an injury. He made the most of his opportunity. Sal is setting his son up for a lot of disappointment I'm afraid. True. I'd like to have 11 players with his heart on the field. But heart and an ACL history won't carry him far in the draft.
