Is it "Bama fatigue", "lack of focus" by players, inexperience, or poor coaching?

Okay, Ricky, here's your thread.  Let's hear it.

Yes.  :lol2:

It's certainly fatigue and lack of experience for sure, and could be lack of coaching as well. The good news is, we will have had 2 weeks to work on it all, by the time we play A&M.

I don't understand the argument of lack of experience.  As for learning the plays/schemes that Bama uses, yeah.  But when it comes to penalties I ain't buying it.  These kids have played football their whole lives since probably around 5 y/o.  They know to "go on the snap" and how they can and cannot use their hands.  Players tend to "cheat" when they get beat by an opponent and that is when they get caught.  IMO, it has nothing to do with a lack of experience.  Please explain...

Linemen need experience in techniques. They get by with strength when younger, but need footwork and hand techniques to succeed in the SEC.
DBs can’t depend on speed alone as they did in high school ...
